Preschool Math – Equal vs. Unequal Parts

This post may contain affiliate links. I may receive a commission, at no cost to you, when you choose to use the links provided. See the Disclosure Policy for more information.

Sometimes it is easy to forget that there is a lot more to Preschool Math than just addition, subtraction and seeing how high a child can count. Those three things are really important, but it is also important to introduce other concepts, such as: graphing, sequencing / pattering, classifying / sorting, and a whole lot more!

Today I am sharing some fun sheets that will help you teach all about Equal Vs. Unequal Parts.

Preschool Math Equal VS

There are 4 sheets in total, each one has a fun activity to help your little one begin grasping this concept. These sheets have activities that involve:

  • Coloring
  • Differentiating between two shapes
  • Sorting equal and non equal shapes
  • Gluing
  • Locating Equal and Unequal parts

Download your sheets HERE! and check out all of my other Preschool Math Worksheets

Understanding equal and unequal parts is a crucial step in a child’s ability to begin understanding fractions (later on!) This is a great skill to learn early and can be practiced in everyday activities. From baking with your little ones, to sharing toys – learning how to divide their groupings to share evenly, etc.

While these are printing make sure you check out all of my other Preschool Math activities – There are a lot of goodies over there!
