So we have officially moved into our home. We’ve actually been in the house for a month and 3 days, and as of the 12th we will have owned our home for a full month.
We are loving all of the space for us to stretch our legs. Greyson is LOVING the space. He has been running around like a crazy boy for the past month. It is fantastic.
The specs on the house are:
- 1,800 Square Feet
- 3-4 Bedrooms
- 1.5 Bathrooms
- Above Ground Pool
- 2+ Car Detached Garage
- Large Living Room
- Off Kitchen Dining Room
- And my favorite part – the laundry room is right in between the master bedroom and Greyson’s nursery.
- 1.5 Acres of land
I have already started work on the office space. Tearing down wallpaper, painting and building a HUGE computer / craft table.
Unfortunately the house has a lot of super ugly wallpaper in nearly every room. But, we’ve decided to take it on space at a time. We got into trouble with our first home. We had family over helping us with anything we wanted for the first weekend and nearly 10 people took on projects, and then on Sunday everyone had to leave…. leaving us with a house with 10+ projects started and maybe 3 completed? It is fantastic having family and friends always willing to pitch in to help where needed, but we just want peace in the house, and no chaos!!
So one project, one wall of wallpaper, and one gallon of paint at a time!
