Storing Coupons

I have this terrible problem with going out shopping, and leaving my coupons somewhere at home. They are usually either on the fridge, or on the dining room hutch. They seem to never be with me when I need them – which is a complete waste of my time and money!

I end up wasting a lot of money, by not taking advantage of my coupons. So thanks to Sherry over at www.younghouselove.com I finally have a terrific solution to this problem.

This accordion file folder / note pad allows me to sort my coupons by store / category

  • Home (Home Depot, Lowes, ACE Hardware, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc)
  • Craft (Jo Ann Fabrics, Michaels, AC Moore, etc)
  • Food (Local and National restaurants, Groupons)
  • Clothing (Old Navy, Gap, Carters, Macys, etc)
  • Misc. (Travel, and Local Entertainment as well as groupons)

Pockets

And the note pad allows me to keep track of the coupons I have, but it also lets me create a shopping list. and a Travel list!

We have an upcoming vacation to Phoenix Arizona, and I have started researching what we might like to do. When I come across a coupon / discount for something in Phoenix I print it out, and file it under Misc.

Phoenix

This was not the easiest of finds, though. It has taken me over a month, and a few different Targets to spot one. And one was all that was there! Thankfully, my awesome husband scoured the office section, trying his hardest to find this book I was describing. I almost gave up, when he brought it to me. I may have done my own little happy dance right there in the isle.

If you can find one, it is so worth it! It is made by a company called the Greenroom. I think it only cost me $5.97.
