So I have been trying to be a lot more self conscious about the money I spend waste at the grocery store.

Remember what it was a few months ago? Nearly 1,200 buckaroos on Groceries for 27 days!!!

Food and Dining

Well I just looked at mint.com to see where we were for the month of March, and compared to February I am going to say it is a HUGE win.

I can definitely see a difference in our bank account. It feels great knowing that I am not wasting money so much anymore. We are able to put more towards debt that we really want to pay off. The house is coming along great with some small projects and a lot of organizing.

Overall, I would have to say that the meal planning is the biggest help though. It is so much easier at night, know what I am going to make for dinner, and knowing I have all the ingredients on hand. We are eating healthier, and every.single.night as family. Which we all love. Combining the meal planning with the sale ads, and my coupons I have been able to save over 600 dollars a month! WaaaHooo!

I am currently working on a recipe system with some printables, since I am now meal planning it would be fantastic to actually have some meals I can cook, and the recipes readily available. It will also help to expand our palates, and it will save me some more time on Sundays!

Any tips on how to set up my recipe system? I have a few ideas but would love some more!!

I finally did it!
