Just like the past 2 birthdays Greyson made out like a bandit this year again. It is actually a bit ridiculous, but this mama is NOT complaining. It brings me such joy that people travel, spend their hard earned money, and precious time to be with my son. If I can give my son only one thing in this world, it would be for him to know that he is loved by many.
Nearly every other gift opened was an amazing Lego Duplo set. Greyson loves building Lego towers and recently started showing interest in actually building houses, farms, cars, etc. So these sets could not have come at a better time.
If you’ve been around this little blog for a while you’ll know I cannot leave things well enough alone. I wanted to take these sets up a notch.
Greyson is not the most inventive child, he needs a little help in the inspiration department. (Unfortunately he got that from me, unlike his insanely creative dad). So I got to work and have started making him a binder of inspiration / manual cards for his Duplo’s.
So for the first set…I present you numbers 0-9
Greyson has already enjoyed using these cards to create numbers. It is so gratifying to see him use and enjoy these little printables I make for him!
Click HERE or the image above to download your own set of cards!
Next up I will show you how I organize these cards (and the others!). AND how I organize all of the “special” Duplo sets.
I also offer a complete Lego Duplo Alphabet set, as well! Make sure you click over and download that too!
I also thought it would be fun to share a behind the scenes photo. Greyson woke up before I was done taking photos of the Lego numbers. He asked if he could build something and take a photo too. He ended up building and snapping photos for over an hour.
I’ve already ordered a shutterfly book of his Lego photos!!
