Snow Paint

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the lack of posting this week. I have not been feeling that great. I think part of that is being stuck at home for 9 straight days. We have had wicked snow storms, dropping feet of snow over the past week. As I mentioned in a previous post; I am not a risk taker when it comes to driving….so Grey and I have been at home, and are both going CRAZY!

Hopefully we are headed to the mall this afternoon, since there is no snow in the forecast.

Since we have nearly 5 feet of snow Greyson and I have been enjoying playing out in it. Yesterday he even painted the snow. *sorry I do not have any photos of this* I know, I am the worst…

Anyway it is SO SO SO easy. Just take a squirt bottle. I used these:

Fill it with water, and a few drops of food coloring OR liquid watercolors. That’s it. See, I told you it was really easy.
The kids (or adults) just squirt the colored water in the snow making designs. If it is one of those bitter days, where it is just too cold to go outside you can do this inside too. I filled up a bowl with snow from the front porch and Greyson squired the dye into that last night while I made dinner.
Tip:
The liquid is squired out of these bottles VERY fast, so just be prepared to do a lot of refilling. So do not use a lot of dye, you will just be wasting it.
I have also been working on a huge post for the new year. I have decided to share my home management binder with all of you! So I am working on making all the of the pages clear, concise, and of course pretty.
Here is a sneak peak at some of the pages from the “finance” section.
