Happy Valentines Day, Everyone!!!

I know that Valentines Day is a controversial holiday. Many see it has a made up holiday by Hallmark, while others just enjoy the day showing, receiving and giving lots of love. I am part of the last group!

If you are following me on Facebook or Instagram you have already know about this. If you are not following me on Facebook or Instagram, you should be. 🙂

This Valentines Day I thought it would be a great idea to make some treats with Greyson and pass them out to “random” people. So we are calling this Random Acts of Kindness LOVE. Let me just say this, it was amazing!!

We just got back from the local hospital (where Scott works). Greyson passed out 36 of our gourmet Valentines to every person he saw. He would had them the treat and say “Happy Val-am-time!”. Everyone was thrilled. Greyson felt wonderful making people so happy, and Scott and I felt wonderful seeing out little one making peoples afternoon! I know I left the hospital with a heart full of love and happiness. I truly hope we shared that love with everyone we met!

So, yesterday after nap time Greyson and I got to work. We made homemade “gourmet” popcorn. We assembled the bags / boxes, tied the ribbon and put them in a basket.

It was so easy to make! The longest part was tying all of the ribbons, but it was worth it. I think they looked adorable. 🙂  I picked up these bags at J0Ann Fabrics, yesterday morning. They came in packs of 6, and there were only 6 packs left. They were 40% off so I grabbed all 6 packs. They were less than $2.00 each.

Of course we had to keep a little bowl of this awesome treat for ourselves to snack on. 🙂

Once I get the images off of my camera, I will post about how to make this “gourmet” popcorn. There is a super easy trick that makes a world of difference!!!

All my love to you and your family on this Valentines Day!

xoxo,

Lindsay
