If there is a budgeting app on the market, you can bet that I have tried it or am using it. None of them have ever really worked exactly as I had hoped or needed. I even looked into have my own created that is based on my Paycheck Budgeting Method but I do not have 100,000+ laying around to have it made.
Out of all the apps I’ve tried, NONE of them have done a great job or any job at helping you or motivating you to pay down your debt. They also fall short in giving you a really in-depth look into your debts. That is where Undebt.it comes in. It rocks, you guys!
When you are on your #DebtFreeJourney there are two things I swear by the 1st is my Financial Planner and the 2nd is undebt.it
As of writing this, there are currently 95,573 active users and 7 Billion dollars worth of debt being paid off!
Why the budgeting app Undebt.it is so dang great?
So what is Undebt .it?
It is an online program that allows you to input all of your debts and their specific details (Interest rate, balance, credit limit, etc.). Once you do that the magic happens. Undebt.it is a budgeting app that automatically organizes and displays your debt information in a very informative, easy to understand, and even easier to compare way.
The website offers:
- Easy interface to enter all of your debt accounts.
- You can even include your non-debt bills (Internet, Water, Lawn Care, etc) to track your payments
- Snowflake Payments
- Payment History
- Detailed Payoff Plan
- Payoff Snapshots (Incredibly motivating!)
- Now you can sync with YNAB and your google calendar
- Credit Utilization breakdown
- Stats and Projections
- and so much more available under each tab!
Some of my favorite features that undebt.it offers:
Debt Payoff Plans:
I think it is safe to say that this is my favorite feature. With a click of a button, you can compare debt payoff methods. Debt Snowball, Debt Avalanche, and my favorite and chosen method: Custom Payoff Plan. I print out our debt amortization chart every month and include it in a folder inside my Financial Planner Binder. I love seeing the debt-free date get closer and even get a few months earlier with the addition of snowflake payments!
YNAB Integration:
Undebt.it has also just added a new feature that allows you to synch to your YNAB (You Need A Budget) account. By linking your YNAB Account, you can have it automatically update your account balances and payment transactions. You can read all about the integration right here.

Stats & Projections:
Another favorite of mine that Undebt.it offers is all of the detailed yet easy to read charts. It even breaks down your Credit Uitlizaton for you.
Under the Stats & Projections tab is goes into detail about the distribution on your debt accounts, the next graph shows you the breakdown of each key debt component: total interest paid, snowball amount, total minimum payments, and total monthly budget. Lastly, it also shows you the projected stats for each debt component on a monthly basis.
This all sounds complicated and in-depth, which it is – and that is why I love that it is calculated for me, and it is so easy to read and understand inside this program!
Snowflake Payments:
I am also excited to talk to you about the tab for Additional Payments. If you are active in the Debt Free Community on Instagram or follow any financial groups on Facebook, I am sure you’ve heard of the Snowflake Payment. These are payments above and beyond your monthly debt snowball payment. When you earn an unexpected $25.00 or your Grandma sends a card because she misses you and puts $20.00 inside, etc. When you toss those small Snowflakes towards your debt, you can quickly enter them in the additional payments tab and watch your debt-free table automatically update!
There is so much more available within this fantastic program. I am genuinely shocked that everyone is not talking about it! Hands down the best program I have used to track my debt payoff!
The one drawback is that they do not have an “app.” HOWEVER, the program was created to work great on any phone. I logged into undebt.it on my phone and then added an icon to my homepage. I click on it just like and App, and the program opens right up for me. Easy as pie!

Last Up – Undebt.it offers a free and paid option. I used the free option until I was sure that I loved the program, and then upgraded to the paid version. The paid version is only $12.00 a year! It is worth every penny. With 12.00 for the Undebt.it system and $5.00 for my Financial Planner, you will be all set to crush your debt and start living the life you’ve always dreamed of!
Seriously, try Undebt.it today. It is life-changing when you are working hard at paying down your debts.
