If you’ve ever been around more than one child in your lifetime you’ll know that they are all different. What drives them, excites them, and motivates them are completely different from one another. Some kids (like Greyson) are thrilled to sit and do worksheets with me, glue pom-poms on paper, and paint. Other kids would rather poke their eyes out then sit and do a worksheet. Sometimes all it takes is a picture of one of their favorite things on the worksheet!
Thankfully for me (since I love creating them) Greyson is a worksheet kid. I am eager to see what this little boy will end up being. I am looking forward to the challenge of creating new learning materials for a different child!
In the meantime- here are some fun Superhero Themed Handwriting Practice sheets! I went with superhero’s because it is an obsession of Greyson’s! He is having a superhero-themed birthday party, he is going to be a superhero for Halloween, and loves wearing his superhero capes everywhere. (He even wore it to the zoo the last time we went!)
{ Handwriting Practice – Superhero Themed! }
You can download all 26 pages of Handwriting Practice here!
Here you can see what the worksheets look like:
The pages entail:
- Upper left corner you’ll see a large example of how to write both the uppercase and the lowercase letter
- Upper right corner your superhero!
- Underneath the superhero, the first line of letters will be uppercase examples of writing
- Underneath those letters have your child practice writing their letters *sized correctly*
- Below the uppercase letters and practice, you’ll see lowercase examples of writing
- Underneath those letters have your child practice writing their letters *sized correctly*
- Along the bottom, you’ll see rectangles and circles
- Rectangles – Have your child write the UPPERCASE letter inside of the rectangles
- Circles – Have your child write the lowercase letter inside of the circles
Is your child also obsessed with all things superhero-related? If you have a specific request for a theme you’d like to see turned into handwriting practice sheets, let me know! I’d be happy to make them for you and everyone else!!
Enjoy!
