For the past few years I have been wanting a real home office. Someplace (Besides the couch) that I could work, craft, teach, blog, etc. Hudson is officially old enough, that we feel comfortable with moving him out of his current room – into a larger room closer to Greyson. That means, I have the perfect location to create a legit home office! Wahoo!
I have been looking for all sources of inspiration. I might be gaining an entire room – but his tiny(ish) room needs to have multiple purposes.
For Me:
- Work zone (desk)
- Craft Zone
- Place to keep my lighting equipment
- And take project photos
- Sewing Area
For the kiddos:
- Area where they can play if I need to work during the day
- Desk area for Greyson to do school work
- Craft Zone
I feel like that is a lot of items that I need to squeeze into a small home office. I truly believe that planning out my needed organization as well as taking full advantage of vertical space will make all the difference between a cluttered, stressful, packed home office – versus the oasis I am picturing.
