Whether you live paycheck to paycheck, or you have a nice cushion each month – saving money is crucial, no matter how much or how little you make!
When money is tight the question is not if you should save money but how to save money. I am a big fan of systems that can automate things for me. That is why I am such a huge fan of Digit. (No this is not sponsored, I just use them and LOVE it).
They make saving money, easy – automatic – and daily. I love that they are not just random saving amounts, but based on algorithms, my past spending history, and so much more. Digit know what bills I pay – how much they are, and how much they can safely transfer into a savings account for me.
The best part is I do not have to input the information. Their systems review my previous spending history, to develop a complete image of our personal finances.

How To Make The Most of the Money You Save
It is important that you have a purpose for every dollar you make / save. Make sure you have a reason for your money. Are you saving money for an emergency fund? Are you saving for a vacation, Christmas, a new home, a car, retirement? Just make sure you have a goal you are striving for with every dollar you save!
By having a purpose you are much more likely to stay on track with your finances. You’ll be less likely to withdraw your funds every time you reach $75.00. When you have a bigger picture – you are more successful!
