It has taken me a full year to locate basic shape stickers! I am still surprised that they are not sold in stores, not even during the back to school season. So two weeks ago I scoured the internet and found some! (To be completely honest, I did find them last year but it was for 5,000+ stickers and nearly $30.00 for them) way too much for my wallet. I ended up finding them online at Trend Enterprises. These were only $2.49 for 800 stickers. Perfect.
So this morning when Greyson asked if he could do something with stickers, I quickly made this Shapes – Full Color FREE Printable, and broke out the new package of shape stickers. Greyson usually struggles getting stickers off the page so I full anticipated having to peel each sticker and hand it to him to place on the paper. But, these were VERY easy (maybe even a little to easy) to get off the page. Greyson was able to do the entire sheet of stickers completely by himself.
This ended up keeping Greyson occupied AND he ended up reviewing shapes – plus he ended up learning a brand new shape: *hexagon*. It also helped to develop his sorting skills, and fine motor skills. Overall this was a huge win, and would be the PERFECT activity to keep little ones busy at a restaurant, or on a road trip.
I created two versions of this for you to download. You can choose the Full Color option or the Black and white (plain) option.
