Greyson really enjoyed the Easter themed mazes I made up for him a few weeks back. He has been asking for me to print them off again, but I decided to make up more mazes, and change up the theme. I will be sharing different themes occasionally. This workbook consists of 40 different mazes, that range in difficulty, but are all meant for the preschool age.
Today I am kicking this set off with a mermaid theme.

Each maze has a mermaid, and either a treasure chest or a ship they are trying to reach.
Have you ever wondered what the value of having your preschooler work on mazes or other puzzles is?
Well I am so glad you have.
Here are a few benefits of having your preschooler work on these maze worksheets:
- Improved Problem Solving Skills – Mazes help your child work on their executive functioning skills. (Planning, Brainstorming Strategies, etc)
- Visual Motor– Mazes require your preschooler to scan the page to see possible outcomes.
- Fine Motor Control– Mazes require your preschooler to take their time, and use their writing instrument to stay between the black lines.
Along with the above mazes are a great way to improve:
- Handwriting
- Hand-Eye Coordination
- Ability to concentrate on a task
- Self Confidence
- Cognitive Thought Process
- Memory
I hope you and your little ones enjoy these! If you are interested in a specific themed workbook, just leave me a comment and I will be sure to make it!
Enjoy!
